Our Lady of Hungary School is a family of faith that encourages the common love Jesus Christ taught us. Students learn to live their lives by the example set by Jesus. The teachers and staff make every effort to exemplify this attitude.

Religion is the "First Thing" Taught . . .

Diverse Opportunities . . .

A wide variety of cultures are explored at Our Lady of Hungary School. The student body reflects our world's diversity with students of Latino, African American and Anglo heritage. Special Education, Title 1 and a resource teacher on staff help students maintain an academic edge. Assistance is given in speech and hearing, and art classes are offered every week. The Christmas and spring music programs are highlights of the the year. Christian service projects are a part of every day for students and extracurricular activities are encouraged.

Academically Speaking . . .

A hands-on science curriculum lets students really get involved. Experimental classes are offered in science and algebra as well as educational field trips. Our Lady of Hungary School is accredited by the NCA - North Central Association, which has been advancing the quality of education since 1895. ISTEP and NWEA testing is done for the state of Indiana. Our Lady of Hungary is proud to report that they have scored in the EXEMPLARY  catagory
for the last series of ISTEP scores.

Athletics . . .

Our Lady of Hungary School is proud of its athletic program. Athletic programs for both boys and girls bring students and families together. Physical Education classes are offered to all students twice a week.

All-Day Kindergarten, Half-Day Preschool and After School Care options . . .

The preschool program at Our Lady of Hungary offers a half-day program for 3-year-olds twice a week. A half-day option is available for 4-year-olds three times a week. A full-day kindergarten is also offered. Our Lady of Hungary is now offering an After School Care program for the convenience of the parents and children of the school.
