We were in the St. Patrick's Day Parade!

The Varsity Cheerleaders were in the St. Patrick's Day Parade! The girls rode in Mrs. Renner's Hummer, while her son and niece followed behind on her son Hunter's 4 wheeler! The parents walked along side and passed out candy. We all had a great time!

Great Things are
Happening at OLH School !
A
New Computer Lab!
Our
Lady of Hungary has a computer lab! The
most amazing part of the computer lab's addition
was that not one cent of school or parish
money was used to make this happen! Chris
Remley
donated hours of his time to dean up and
rebuild computers that were donated.
The
University of Notre Dame and many school
families donated computers for the creation
of our new lab, and our former Associate
Superintendent of Schools, Jo Ann Roscoe,
contacted Comcast Cable Company and arranged
for free Internet access. The teachers
are very proud of our computer lab and
are excited about all the new avenues this
will open for our students.
OLH
Received a Reading Program Grant!
Our Lady of Hungary has received an
Innovative Teaching Grant from Teacher's
Credit Union. This
year, Our Lady is instituting a school-wide
reading program in order to boost reading
comprehension scores on our state standardized
testing. The grant was awarded to Our Lady
because of the innovative methods the staff
created to teach reading this year.
The
grant will be used to purchase resource
books for teachers, storybooks for teacher
and student use, and reading-related
textbooks for the teachers in order to
further the development of the reading
program. We'd like to give BIG thank
you to TCU for awarding Our Lady this amazing
grant!
